This list has been updated from its original publishing to reflect the Rotten Tomatoes scores of all of the Naruto movies in the franchise. Updated By Amanda Bruce On June 23, 2020: Though the Naruto franchise includes hundreds of hours of television and numerous volumes of manga, it only features 11 movies (so far). Interestingly, their ratings are markedly different than their Internet Movie Database counterparts, creating a slightly different ranked order. Naruto as a series began as a one shot back in 1997 and was serialised in 1999 before spawning an animated series in 2002. Naruto Uzumaki and the rest of the Konoha genin must investigate the kidnappings and prevent a potential fourth ninja war. When the trail leads them to Mount Shumisen, Team Kakashi is deployed. The game takes place in the incredibly popular world of the anime/manga, Naruto. Someone is kidnapping ninjas with kekkai genkai abilities from all over the land. Most of the films are considered fresh with at least a 60% score by the review site, though most don’t have critics’ reviews.
